Level 1 submission checklist

  • Team and member details
  • Project title, problem statement, target users, abstract and project document
  • Working prototype with a features and limitations list
  • GitHub link or files with setup steps
  • Demo video under 5 minutes
  • Tech stack, hardware and dependencies

Fair play

  • All members on site, with no remote contributors
  • Mentors guide but don't write code
  • Commit to the shared repository at least every 3 hours
  • Disclose external code

AI tool policy

  • Coding assistants and AI APIs are allowed and must be disclosed
  • AI code the team can't explain is not accepted
  • Outside people or paid services building during the event lead to disqualification

Intellectual property

Teams keep full ownership of the work they build.

Changes & refunds

Refund and change policy — to be announced once approved by finance.

Code of conduct & safety

Zero tolerance
  • Zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination or ragging
  • No alcohol, smoking or drugs
  • Separate hostels with women wardens
  • Escorted night movement
  • A 24-hour helpline and the Internal Complaints Committee contact
  • Doctor on call, an ambulance and CCTV
  • Vegetarian, non-vegetarian and Jain food options
